Beach holiday with Moroccan Spirit
Whenever I think of Morocco, I have always thought of souks, busy markets and camel rides through the sand and to be fair, this is the image most tour operators show you in their brochures. Agadir offers all of this as well as a huge sandy beach and a bustling promenade.
Our favourite time of day was at dusk along the Promenade and Marina. Mount Agadir produces the perfect backdrop as it transforms into a glowing landmark in it’s own right. Known as the Hill of three words, it depicts the three pillars of Morocco; God, King and Nation. Street traders are out in plenty (don’t let this put you off, they are not pushy) and the locals tend to gather to enjoy the warm evening atmosphere.
All Inclusive is not required here due to the number of restaurants with a lot of styles to choose from.
