Wine flights and food across the capital
Every year, DrinkUp.London presents the London Wine Week, a seven day festival celebrating wonderful wines, fantastic foods and one of the most social weeks in the Capital. The 2016 Wine Week festival did not disappoint. Our only problem was we were in london for a weekend and we really needed a couple of extra days!
Starting in Devonshire Square, we collected our fabric wristbands and guide book. It was at this point we realised how many different bars, restaurants and popup traders were participating and realistically we were going to have to pick our favourites and group them by location.
From wine to cocktails
After a cheeky bottle of Prosecco and a show we scrubbed up and headed to one of our favourite evening bars, Covent Garden Cocktail Club. The atmosphere is always eclectic but comfortable in this underground mixologists heaven. Dancing lights and imaginatively named cocktails always leave us wanting more. A great tip is to join the membership list for £1 and book a table early to avoid having to shift around all evening.
